Launched in August 2009, Feed Direct is a family owned and run business based in Kumeu, North-West Auckland. Proprietors John Colman and Nicola Ward have over 70 years combined experience in the equine industry. Having ridden, coached and competed in various countries around the world, managing both private and commercial yards, they have the depth of knowledge and experience to provide advice and products tailored to your needs. In recent years John has spent time in the retail sector of animal feed, developing a thorough knowledge base of products and suppliers, and perhaps more importantly, customers needs and requirements. In response to this, Feed Direct offers cheaper, fresher feed delivered straight to your feed shed. With no retail outlet overheads are kept to a minimum, meaning savings can be passed on to the customer. Since product is collected from the supplier and delivered virtually straight to the client, feed is fresher and therefore better quality – no sitting around for weeks at a feed store before purchase. A full range from all the major brands are available, and if you require a product not listed on the product list, all efforts will be made to source it for you. Areas are serviced weekly and prices include delivery – convenient, and even better value for money! Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Delivery is included for these areas on the specified days. A charge will be levied for deliveries outside these areas, emergency deliveries, or deliveries outside the normal scheduled run.
